Good to know

Deck & fence questions

Will cleaning damage my deck timber?
No. We match the pressure and method to the timber, so we lift the growth and grime without furring or gouging the boards. Delicate or older decks are treated more gently.
Can I stain straight after?
Cleaning is the essential first step, but timber needs to dry out fully before oiling or staining — usually a few dry days. We'll advise on timing for your project.
Do you do the staining too?
We focus on cleaning and prep to give you the best possible base. If you need a recommendation for staining, we're happy to point you in the right direction.
